Q What are the graduation criteria?
The minimum requirement is 36 months of stay, the acquisition of 74 credits, and 30 hours of special activity participation.

No, there is no difference. We offer a full-time high school diploma.

Q I am worried about my studies; would it be possible to have support?
We have a team of specialists offering professional advice and individualized support.
Q What is the “career education” you’re offering?
It is like a self-exploration and reflection guided by our advisors. Students can think deeply about themselves and their prospects when making study and career plans.
QWhat is the difference between your “credit system” and the “grade system” in other schools?
In a credit system, students can flexibly acquirecredits based on their plans as the objective is to earn credits and complete study programs. The merit is that students have multiple chances to try even if they fail certain courses.
Q Are there any compulsory studies?
There are compulsory courses while most of the time students have options (selective courses) for their career plans and goals.
QDo I need a computer for my study?
Students need to attend online courses, submit online assignments, and get involved in other online activities so a smart device (e.g. a smartphone, a tablet, a computer, etc.) is necessary. Smartphones might be difficult for certain usage so a tablet/computer is recommended.
Schooling
QShould I study at the main campus in Yasura or the study center in Koyo?
Students can enjoy their school life at either campus. Yet, some subjects might only be available in particular locations. We are pleased to provide a shuttle bus service, the journey from one location to anothertakes about 50 minutes.
QWho are the teachers? What are their qualifications?
Our school is a certified high school approved by Article 1 of the School Education Law. All teaching staff members are licensed in their subjects. Our teachers are experienced and equipped with specific skills to offer students tailored assistance. We also have certified psychological counselors to ensure students have a wonderful school life.
QHow long is one academic year?
We have four intensive schooling periods in one school year, while tailored programs will also be provided to those with difficulties attending the intensive schooling.

QWhat time does school officially start and end?
From 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday.
QDo you have a school uniform?
Yes, we do. There are no specific limitations on student outfits so purchasing school uniforms is optional. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
QI am not a morning person. Am I still suitable?
Why not? Students can plan their daily timetable so there shall be no worries.
Q Is it easy to make friends in a correspondence high school?
We have a professional team guidingstudents in teamwork, group projects, and school events to ensure our students have plenty of opportunities to make friends.
QAre there any canteens in the campus?
There is a café on the 1/F of the main building in the Koyo Campus.
QCan I get a student commuter pass?
Yes, you can. Our school can issue certificates for your application.
QCan I work a part-time job?
Yes, you can. The merit of enrolling in a correspondence high school is that you can plan your schedule to take your favorite classes and work part-time jobs.
Credit Transfer& Admission
QCan I transfer the credits I earned from my previous school?
Yes, you can. Be mindful that credits of some specialized courses might not be transferrable.

QHow can I pay my tuition fee and other fees?
Please deposit the fees to our designated payable account at Hiroshima Bank (direct deposit/transfer). You will be responsible for any bank administrative fees stemming from the payments.
